Kristinas Lusthus or Lantmäteristyrelsens hus in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm was built in 1642. At the time of Kristina's government, there was a shortage of vacant plots on Stadsholmen, the current Old Town, and in order to attract future officials to the capitol of the new great power, they rebuilt huge parts of the area now called Norrmalm. This is the story behind it, illustrated with paintings and other beautiful imagery. In Swedish.
