In October of 2020, peteandharry.com launched with grand pomp and circumstance. The company was founded by menswear entrepreneurs Fredrik af Klercker and Erik Mannby. Fredrik is well known among classically-inclined men in Scandinavia through his podcast, Stiljournalen (which has over 100,000 listeners monthly). He is also well known from other endeavors, such as launching the vintage arm of the renowned auction house, Bukowski’s. Erik Mannby is Editor-in-Chief of Plaza Uomo, Sweden’s only global menswear magazine. He is also one of the entrepreneurs who brought the tailoring house Götrich back from the brink of bankruptcy in 2018. The name Pete & Harry originates from their personal style heroes—namely Erik’s grandfather, Harry, and Fredrik’s father, Peter.
Here at Pete & Harry, our mission is to sell curated and premium second hand menswear and accessories to discerning customers from all over the world. We focus on quality and aesthetics rather than brand names. Pete & Harry is a window into a timeless world, where casual and formal clothing create a unique vision of elegance.
Since starting Pete & Harry, we have sold clothes, shoes, and accessories to all corners of the world, where our global community of well dressed men have found an Eden of well selected and beautiful items from some of the best makers and brands in the world.
Peter is a retired businessman and active investor, with an elegant and well worn style that accentuates his charming persona.
Harry was a showman who worked in theatres and revues, with a great sense of style and flair.
Fredrik generally dresses in tailored menswear, and is especially well known for his love of evening dress, such as white and black tie attire.
Erik dresses in a mix of conservative, vintage and contemporary styles, borrowing influences from Golden Age Hollywood, as well as from workwear, militaria, and some streetwear.
